rrashkov
Seems that some (but not all) apps are showing twice when searching for them, not sure what is causing it? Link to comment
Vero
@rrashkov Welcome to the forum First, try typing "reload" into Alfred, which will refresh the application cache. If that doesn't resolve the issue, there's probably a bit of confusion in your Mac's metadata index, so pop to Alfred's Advanced preferences, and click the "Rebuild macOS Metadata" to rebuild your Mac's index. This can take up to an hour, then type "reload" again, and let me know how you get on. Cheers, Vero Colorful Tones 1 Link to comment
rrashkov
Thanks @Vero I did the reload, and the re-index. As a result, the dual entries are gone now, but I also lost my app icons Did just about everything in but they still don't show up. Latest version of Alfred with Powerpack, Mojave 10.14.1 (updated from previous versions) Link to comment
rrashkov
Ok, this has been resolved in the other topic for the missing icons. Thanks Link to comment

Upgraded to Catalina recently and started seeing apps show up under two different references for the same directory. For example: [/Applications/Safari.app] and [/System/Volumes/Data/Applications/Safari.app]. Typing "reload" into Alfred worked perfectly. Thank you! Link to comment
gingerbeardman
reload worked for me. Link to comment
