Snaidis Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Is it possible to edit my clipboard after copying?
vitor Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 (edited) It is not. You can only delete an entry (fn⌫). Edited February 25, 2019 by vitor
Vero Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 @Snaidis Could you give an example of why you'd want to edit something you copied to clipboard, and how you'd be then using the manipulated text clip? If you're editing it for pasting once, then just paste it in your destination and edit it there. If you want to edit it with the intention of pasting it many times after, select it in the Clipboard Viewer and press Cmd + S to save it as a snippet where you'll then be able to edit it. If you can give some more context of what you're trying to do, we might be able to help you work out the best way to do it. Cheers, Vero
raguay.customct Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 You can use my workflow ScratchPad (https://github.com/raguay/MyAlfred/blob/master/Alfred 3/ScratchPad.alfredworkflow). It will copy the clipboard to the Alfred prompt, you can edit it and hit enter to save it back to the clipboard. Very useful for me. Give it a try. 40-02 1
