MRMJP
I just tried using Alfred on a 3rd computer I don't often use and Snippets are not working. When I go into the Alfred preferences, there is a red warning that says Process ID 2849 seems to be preventing set expansion by locking secure entry. How do I resolve this? Link to comment
deanishe
Start by finding which application has PID 2849. That will tell you which application is causing it (Chrome is a common culprit). Quitting the process might help, but often doesn't. If it doesn't, you need to log out and log back in or reboot. AFAIK, there's no other way to disable secure entry if the app that enabled it forgot to turn it off again. Link to comment
