Gmail in Google Chrome for "Email To" and "Email" actions

Hi there,

 

I'm new to Alfred and I would love if the "Email" and "Email To" fields (as shown below) when viewing finder files through Finder would open in Gmail on Google Chrome, rather than Apple's default Mail Client, which I never use. Is this possible with an Alfred setting or a workflow? I thought that checking the box shown below in Contacts settings would make the change, but it hasn't worked. :(

No, I’m afraid that’s not possible.

 

In order to attach a file to an email, the email client needs to have a corresponding API.

 

Mail.app has an AppleScript API that lets you create messages with attachments, but there’s no way to pass a file to Gmail in a browser.
