cannot set simple trigger

Recommended Posts

Hi and good day,

When I try to enter a trigger, such as SH- CTRL- some number, Alfred doesn't accept anything (field remains empty), but if I use other combinations, such as CTRL ALT CMT nnnn, then it works.

Why not SH- CTRL- some number ?

Regards,

Omar KN

@OmarKN If Alfred won't let you set that particular combo, it's likely already used by another app on your Mac, which is intercepting it before Alfred is even aware you've pressed that combination.

On a fairly vanilla macOS, the Shift + Ctrl + numbers combination is usually free so take a look at what installed apps you might have installed that use these combos. :)

Cheers,
Vero
