politicus Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Love the new search in Preferences. But would love to be able to search Alfred Preferences from Alfred search bar.
Andrew Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 @politicus You can do this with the built in ? keyword, e.g. Show Alfred and type: ?features I'll add a note to make this more obvious Cheers, Andrew
politicus Posted June 21, 2019 Author Posted June 21, 2019 When I type "?features" in Alfred Search Bar and hit enter Alfred Preferences is launched. But I can't search any query as "Features" disappears as I type an argument.
Andrew Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 @politicus They keyword is ?... Did Alfred's preferences launch to the features tab when you typed ?features How about if you type ?workflows, or ?web search
politicus Posted June 22, 2019 Author Posted June 22, 2019 All is working like a charm. One more feature I will use every day ! Any other hidden gems ? 😀
politicus Posted July 3, 2019 Author Posted July 3, 2019 Are web searches searchable. Doesn't look like they are. 😔 Would be super useful when want to check the keyword of one web search.
Andrew Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 @politicus they are searchable by keyword, but this is something which will likely change in the future
politicus Posted July 3, 2019 Author Posted July 3, 2019 Ok. Got it. (I tried but didn't find a way to search by keyword this morning because I had the great idea to create a workflow with a ? as a keyword... Stupid me.) In order no other user waste his time, the right way to search Web searches by keyword is "?NameOfTheKeyword". No space needed between ? and the keyword.
