"spell" not working on catalina?

I know that Catalina is in beta but I just wanted to check if this should be working on Catalina or not. I'm a new user to Alfred and still trying to figure things out. "Define" works but when I try to use spell, it doesn't spell check and closes when I hit enter. I found an old thread from 2016 below and tried the solutions but it didn't work for me.

I'm using version 1.2 (220) appstore version

I downloaded the latest version off of the website and it works now. Maybe the version in the appstore is a little outdated. Thank you for your help on this.
