eject and catalina

Recommended Posts

Since the Catalina upgrade, I'm seeing my regular "Macintosh HD" as well as the hidden "Recovery" drives show up as ejectable. I previously use the "eject all" to disconnect sometimes multiple USB drives from my dock while at work. Unfortunately, with the new points showing up I can no longer eject all and have to instead manually choose which devices to individually eject. Is it possible to restore the previous behavior that only showed external devices that were mounted? For reference, finder sill only shows the same mounts as before.

@psifertex Take a look at Alfred's Features > System preferences, where you can add any drives you want to the Blacklist (including wildcarded names).

These are the defaults, so if you don't see them, click the "reset" button. You can then drag any further drives to ignore into the list.
