Boxer
* What you were doing when the issue happened Toggled Alfred. * Whether you were able to replicate it a second time by performing the same action No, it happens occasionally, about 1~3 times per day. * Include any screenshots that might help us Sorry, there was no helpful screenshots. It appeared just as usual, but without cursor, and didn't respond while I was typing. And the cpu (≤ 3.5%) and memory (≤ 40MB) usage seemed to be quit normal. * Include the Alfred version & build number you are using Alfred 4.0.7 Build 1131, Tuesday 17th December 2019 * Include your OS X version 10.15.2 (19C57)
Andrew
@Boxer this sounds like a hotkey conflict. Try a different hotkey for Alfred, or if you're using cmd+space, take a look at the 3 things on this page: https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/cmd-space/
Boxer
Hi, Andrew, Thanks for reply. I guess it's not caused by hotkey conflict. I set the hotkey to Ctrl+Space. I can toggle Alfred successfully every time, but occasionally it showed up without blinking cursor and didn't accept my input. And I had to quit and relaunch it. (retoggle didn't work) Edited January 6, 2020 by Boxer
Andrew
@Boxer This sounds unusual. Could you try setting Alfred's focus compatibility mode in Alfred Preference's > Appearance > Options > Focusing > Compatibility Mode. There could be something installed on your user profile which is preventing the floating window from accepting input.
