How to open file in app directly from Sharepoint?

Hi all.

 

Hoping you can help me with something. This isn’t really an Alfred issue, but still is something that I would like to be able to do in Alfred.

 

I have a file on a Sharepoint 365 site that I want to be able to open directly in Excel. In Sharepoint, I copy the link to my clipboard and then invoke it from Alfred. When I do, naturally it opens as a URL in my browser, which is not what I want. I want to open it directly in Excel but can’t figure out how to do that.

 

Any clues? Am I just completely overlooking something obvious?
