I tried using this https://duckduckgo.com/search?ia={querry}. into the required field and it didn't work. please give me explict instructions for doing this and for brave as my go to default browser as number one choice Link to comment
Andrew
@atv You can set duck duck go as Alfred's default fallback in Alfred's Preferences > Features > Default Results > Setup fallback results (type ?fallbacks into Alfred to get to this preference instantly). Select the [+] button, then Web Search, then Duck Duck go. Drag this above Google and it'll be Alfred's default fallback. As for Brave, you'll need to set this as the default browser in macOS. You can do this in the macOS System Preferences > General > Default web browser. Cheers, Andrew Link to comment
ThatTamyBot
@Andrew But fallbacks are powerpack only is there a way to do this on the free version Edited December 16, 2020 by ThatTamyBot Link to comment
Vero
@ThatTamyBot Customising fallback searches is a Powerpack only feature. With the free version, you can prefix your search term with the keyword for the web search you'd like to use, e.g. "duck cambridge" to search for the query "cambridge" using Duck Duck Go. rrchampion
I use the free version a lot! I just entered duck schwab to search for schwab using DuckDuckGo. It did not work. Link to comment

Next, "duck" is the default keyword, but take a look at Alfred's Preferences > Features > Web Search, and take a look at whether you've modified the keyword for the Duck Duck Go web search.
