Use a shortcut when open an App

Hello pals,

 

I know how to open an app, but I want, when the app is open, call a shortcut. My idea, I have a text in my clipboard, after that, I open the app, call the shortcut (the app shortcut) and paste the text.

Gracias @deanishe por la ayuda, por lo pronto coloco el proceso por si alguien pasa por la misma duda.

 

El flujo del proceso para:

• Copiar selección
• Abrir aplicación
• Aplicar un shortcut que corresponde a la aplicación
• Pegar el texto copiado y ejecutar.

 

 

1. Se agrega un Hotkey con la siguiente configuración:

 

• aplicar el hotkey para el workflow
• seleccionar el argumento (existen varios), en mi caso es: Selection in macOs, ya que yo quiero copiar y pegar el texto seleccionado.

 

2. Agrego un Launch App & Delay.

 

 

El delay me ayuda en asegurar que por cualquier circunstancia que la aplicación sufra un retraso al momento de abrir, le dé un espacio para ejecutar el shortcut que corresponde a la misma aplicación.

 

3. Agrego un Dispatch Key Combo para aplicar el shortcut ya abierta la aplicación.

 

 

No hay mucho que hacer mas que agregar el shorcut que deseas aplicar en la aplicación abierta.

 

4. Y finalizas con un copy to clipboard.

 

 

Esta es una de las partes, no complicadas, si no difíciles de entender a la primera, ya que el nombre no funciona mucho.

 

Aunque en primera instancia esta función nos ayuda, "a copiar texto al portapapeles", también es capaz de pegar lo que tiene el "query" guardado, es decir, el argumento que decidimos seleccionar en la primer función del workflow, como tal, esa selección ya la tenemos guardada por algún lugar, no directamente en portapapeles pero si en el flujo como una variable volátil, y al momento de llamarla con el copy to clipboard, en lugar de pegarla en el portapapeles como tal, la pegas donde quieres, con la instrucción "Automatically paste..." con esto, pasamos el texto seleccionado y pegamos donde deseemos.

 

Con lo anterior, tenemos un flujo funcional de copiado, y pegado.

Neither do they (well, they might), which makes this humorous from a Portuguese perspective. Portugal and Spain have similar languages and cultures—so honest mistakes are bound to happen—but tend to get annoyed when people confuse the two. We share a lot of history, so it’s our version of a sibling rivalry. Just be careful to not get it mixed up when speaking to someone in person or there’s a good chance they’ll resent you for real, even if they liked you up to that point.

Yeah, I know it's Spanish. I wrote that I don't speak Portuguese for the same reason I said that "dente azul" is Spanish.
