gpkashyap
Hey there! I bought a new laptop yesterday and the first app I downloaded was Alfred. I used Alfred for years on my older machine with no issues whatsoever. But I noticed something odd on the new Mac, which is, Alfred is not able to open the default Apple apps. Spotlight is recognising and opening all the apps though. To attempt to address this problem, I rebuilt the index. The issue still persists. Third party apps are recognised. Running the latest edition of Catalina. Link to comment
Vero
@gpkashyap First, please make sure you're using Alfred 4.0.9 from https://www.alfredapp.com as Apple have moved default apps to a new location in macOS Catalina. It looks like you may be using the older App Store version of Alfred, which isn't aware of these changes. Next, if the issue persists, take a look at the indexing troubleshooting guide below: https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/indexing/ Cheers, Vero Link to comment
