Firefox to send current page to another device?

Recommended Posts

On my Mac I mainly use Safari, I was wondering if it is possible for Apple Script to access the Firefox built in menu. Should I even try to do it?

The workflow would look like : Get safaris page -> Open the link in Firefox in Desktop 2 (so it would not pop up on my main screen) -> Send the current link to my Windows PC -> Close Firefox on Desktop 2 -> Get a notification that it has run.

Probably not. Firefox has zero support for AppleScript, and the Accessibility Inspector can't see the "Page actions" button you'd need to click.

You might be able to do it with Keyboard Maestro, which can click stuff based on images on the screen, but you won't be able to do it out of sight on another desktop.
