Kubo Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 Hey everyone, I've recently upgraded to full powerpack and re-installed Alfred. First few searches were OK and I found everything withotu any issues. While I was in the settings changing the theme and default settings in Applications Options (fuzzy matching), Alfred stopped displaying any searches for any app I wanted to launch. Things like Notion, Spark, Google Chrome or even basic preferences are not displaying when I type them. Spotlight finds them without any issues. When I type the Open keyword, it finds the app without any issue and opens it. I don't know what setting I have to change to go back to normal, but I certainly don't think it's intended for me to write the open keyword every time to switch or launch an app. I also rebuilt the index and reloaded the cachce and it didn't help. Thanks for the help!
Vero Posted August 6, 2020 Posted August 6, 2020 @Kubo Welcome to the forum If you're using Alfred 4.1, go to Alfred's preferences > Help > Troubleshooting and run the File Search Troubleshooting, dragging in some of the apps you can't locate. This will give you more information on whether the metadata for these files is complete. Pop the results of a few apps in your reply below and I'll help you work out what's happening. Cheers, Vero
