System Preference Icons Blank in Alfred

I have noticed that some of the system preference icons are blank in the Alfred search bar when you type the name of the preference directly: General, Internet Accounts, Flash Player to name 3.  See screenshots

It's a macOS bug.

Thx - curios what the bug is since it is not an issue with Spotlight?

@mikedvzo This is essentially a bug in macOS where the icons are missing, but being reported to Alfred as normal when he tries to load them. As such, the blank backup icon is what is shown.

 

This has been reported to Apple by numerous users over the years, and a couple of icons are missing in Mojave and Catalina. Most recently in Big Sur, only the Bluetooth icon seems to be missing. This may be resolved before the general release of Big Sur. We'll keep an eye on it

I figured out how to fix the missing System Preferences icons, specifically

General

Apple ID

Bluetooth

Internet Accounts

@Nico W this has actually been fixed by Apple in macOS Big Sur, the correct icons are now in place by default

It helps fix the issue in Catalina and older 👉
