OK I used the Mail app to test the troubleshooter and here is what it came back with:

-----------------------------------------------------------

Check file is in search scope...

File exists within Alfred's default search scope

Check if volume '/' is indexed by macOS...

⚠️ Indexing may not be enabled on this drive

/:

Check direct file metadata...

⚠️ Direct metadata is missing, this file is likely not indexed by macOS

-----------------------------------------------------------

Check mdls file metadata...

@cdispoto These results indicate that there's a deeper indexing issue on your Mac, outside of Alfred.

The first step is to restart your Mac and see whether the message has changed.  If it remains the same and your index doesn't appear to rebuild, take a look at these two threads, which refer to the same error message you're seeing.

Do you have any idea why your index may be corrupted/disabled? Did you use any "database optimising" software that may have fettled with these settings such as Onyx?

Cheers,
