Cant toggle Alfred (4) no matter what hotkey I set in the preferences

Hey there

 

I used to have Alfred 3 on my old Mac and am currently trying to set Alfred 4 up on my new Mac running version 10.15.6.

I have Alfred running in Version 4.1.1

 

In the old days I had the hotkey set to cmd+ space. Thats spotlight by default so I disabled that in the system preferences and activated that hotkey in Alfred preferences. Pressed that hotkey again, nothing happened. Restartet Alfred, nothing happened. Restarted my Mac, nothing happened. I tried again with all the single tap and double tap hotkeys and nothing seems to work. Even if I click on the Alfred icon in the menu bar and there on toggle Alfred, nothing happens.

 

Any help here? What can I do?
