Alfred 1 retirement kills Alfred 2 preference files?

Recommended Posts

Hi, for a time both  versions were living together in my system.

Today I decided to erase version 1, I´m a Hazel user too, and when an app is dropped to the bin al support files and preferences too, the surprise came when Alfred 2 seemed to be with factory defaults so my question is...

both apps shares the same preferences? I only need to remove Alfred 1 app?

Thanks.

Alfred v1 and v2 have completely separate preferences and operate as independent applications, so maybe Hazel got confused and a bit over zealous when searching for 'Alfred' to delete in the preferences / app support folder.

If you can roll back whatever Hazel did, then use the v1 reset guide to delete v1's settings:
