How long have you been using Alfred?

Hi guys. I’ve only been using Alfred for a few months but the experience was really excellent. Loving it! How about you?

I’ve been using it for 8 or 9 years. I don’t remember if I used it during versions 0.x, but I do remember first buying a license during version 1. A short time after that version 2 was released, then I registered on the forum, then I started sharing my Workflows and kept coming back.

I got my 1.0 license 9 years and a few weeks ago.  Not sure how long I was in the beta before then.

Same, I bought my license in November 2011, right after I got my first MacBook. Upgraded to Mega Supporter in 2014.

In May 2020, a friend saw me using spotlight and claimed "I'm going to pull you out of stone age". And she told me to get Alfred. I had been using it as "just another spotlight" since then.

 

Beginning of November, I got curious "what is this powerpack thing?".
Searched online, found packal, and this forum, downloaded a bunch of workflows.
It hit me so hard!! "HOLY SHIT! ALFRED IS SO POWERFUL!!"
"It's not an app, it's a platform!" 🤩💕
I was up all night for a couple of days building stupid workflows and playing around.
In a day or two, I became a mega supporter.

I only got access to this software in August this year. After a month of using it, I decided to become a mega supporter. I hope it will become more powerful and add more features.

I've been using Alfred since the olden times, so long ago the Alfred forum was hosted elsewhere! The Powerpack from 2010 below! 😮

I bought Alfred 1 about 8 years ago and purchased the Mega Supporter when it became available. 80+ workflows later, I'm loving it and using it everyday. My peak usage was 800+ times in one day! I can't get the exact number because it got erased when I had to wipe my system and reload a few months ago. But, I got 795 in one day last week!
