search bar does not disappear on 4.3.1

Hi

Just downloaded 4.3.1 (1214) and the search bar no longer disappears when a command is executed  - it just lingers and you have press the same trigger keys to make it disappear.

@jonnylawrence What's your hotkey? If it's Cmd + Space, please make sure that it isn't also used by another app (e.g. Spotlight, keyboard language switcher), as this interference can cause focus issues.

Doesn't seem to be the problem. I stopped alfred, and there is nothing firing on the key sequence (cmd+space), which I use .

 

I reverted to the previous version  4.3 [1205] and it works fine.

@jonnylawrence Just to check, are you on Mojave (macOS 10.14)? And does this happen very time, or does it fix it if you log out and log in again?

Hi,

It was big sur 11.1.

 

It's working OK now - apologies. Maybe a reboot or something resolved the problem.

it's appearing with me now on update Alfred 5.5 

my Mac OS is SONOMA 14.3

• What is your Alfred hotkey combo?
• Does this happen every time or occasionally?

As I responded to the original post, if you're using Cmd + Space, take a look at this guide to make sure no other services on your Mac are using the same combo:

my hot key is option+ space

it was happening all the time

 

NOW get solved

-I quit Alfred

-then  Restart my computer

now it disappear and solved
