How to search email content

I don't quite understand "workflows" and some other terms here, so if I'k asking incorrectly, forgive.

 

One of the main reasons for installing Alfred and getting the Powerpack is the time I waste searching and not finding things, particularly in e-mail and Evernote.

 

I am not always (never) consistent with where I have placed information.  I may have jotted down in textedit, evdernote, an email to myself, etc.  And perhaps I had a convo with someone via email and via text.

 

I want to be able to search for a person's name, or email, or a word that would appear in these.

 

I can find in most files, but not yet in email or evernote.  I'd be fine with just email for now.

 

What do I do if I want to have Alfred search email?  I thought it was included when I checked that off.

You can’t search email in Alfred because Apple prevents 3rd-party apps from doing so.
