Linguee Search workflow

Hi everyone,

 

I have created an Alfred workflow to search for translations on Linguee.com. The seach results have extra metadata attached, which allows rich integration with the Alfred search box, see corresponding Features section to see all available interaction options.

By default English-German laungauge pair is used, however it is possible to change this via environment variables.

This workflow was inspired by the work of Alexander Heimbuch and is very similar to his workflow.

I just published a 1.1.0 release which now has fallback search configuration and an ability to change the copy behavior.

Hello,

 

I tried your workflow. But can't get it to work.

Debugger in Alfred shows the following error:

16:45:58.228] ERROR: Linguee Search[Script Filter] Code 6: dyld: Library not loaded: /System/Library/Frameworks/Combine.framework/Versions/A/Combine

```

macOS Mojave 10.14.6

Unfortunately the minimum supported macOS version is 10.15. It is built with technology added back then.

Ah. Thank you. Thought of this. But couldn't test it on MacBook with Big Sur.

Hi again,

 

With the latest 1.2.0 release, the workflow runs natively on Apple's hardware with M1 chip and does not require Rosetta 2 anymore.

Did you edit the workflow?

What version did you use?

What hardware & macOS version are you using?

Which languages?

What version did you use? v1.2.1

What hardware & macOS version are you using? MacBook Air 2020, M1 Chip, Big Sur 11.5.2

Which languages? German, English

Also, could you open an issue in on GitHub? OK, will do.
