brd93 Posted February 26, 2021 Share Posted February 26, 2021 Running Catalina 10.15.7 on a brand new MacBook Pro. Problem is, whenever I log in, the first screen I see is Alfred Preferences. This happens whether or not I've chosen to open Alfred on log in. On my previous computer, on log-in, Alfred started in the background and preferences didn't show up unless I called for them. That's the behavior I'd like to see. . Link to comment

It's some other mechanism starting that. Make sure it isn't running next time you reboot, and check that you don't have it in System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login items. Link to comment
