elblondo Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Hi, I often like to create "snapshots" of my data/work which allows me to "roll-back" to previous versions. I think it would be a useful feature to "Export All Workflows" ... maybe even "Export All Themes" ... or a generic "Export All" to a selectable folder of choice. This would avoid doing N exports manually. Best regards
deanishe Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 You could just make a copy of the themes directory inside your Alfred.alfredpreferences bundle.
Vero Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 @elblondo As suggested above, you could copy a specific folder, or just regularly backup your entire Alfred.alfredpreferences via Time Machine, which is the easiest way to get back to your preferences in the future (or get back to a particular time/state if you accidentally deleted or changed something)
elblondo Posted March 13, 2021 Author Posted March 13, 2021 Hi @deanishe - good idea, I could write a script copying that with a timestamp @vero - also good idea, this is already happening but while I use Time Machine as I can't see the contents I don't trust it 100%. But, to return to my original idea: Would it not be a nice feature in the next Alfred to be able to File/Export All Themes and File/Export All Workflows? Best regards
