Samādhi
Hi all. Before I wound up having to wipe and restore my drive (yeah...), I used to be able to recall previous results in Alfred with a key combination - it was some modifier key and either the up- or down-arrow. For example, if I'd do a calculation in Alfred and then go on about my business, and then later want to see or use the result of that calculation again, I could invoke Alfred and use that keystroke and I'd be shown the result of that calculation I'd done previously. But now I can't figure out what keystroke I used (none of them seem to have the desired effect) and I don't know what this function might be called or where to even begin to look for it in Alfred's kind of paralyzingly extensive preferences. Does anybody recognize what I'm talking about and know where in the prefs I can configure it? Many thanks. Link to comment

Recently, ^↑ and ^↓ were added to specifically navigate your query history. I think what might be confusing you is that Alfred only saves your query history in memory, not on disk, so it's reset every time you restart Alfred. Link to comment
Vero
@Samādhi You'll first need to enable this in Alfred's Advanced preferences by checking both "store typed query" and "show latest if within 5 minutes" You'll then be good to go https://www.alfredapp.com/blog/tips-and-tricks/keep-your-latest-query-handy/ Link to comment
Samādhi
Perfect - thank you very much, Vero. That's what I needed. 🙏 Link to comment
Samādhi
(Oh...except I did not want Alfred to "show latest query if within 5 minutes". So I unchecked that again and now it's working exactly as I wanted. Thanks!) Link to comment
