Alfred Web Search feature on Glassdoor

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have tried to get the custom Web Search for glassdoor companies. E.g., Currently,  I can type `gdj software engineering`, and the relevant job page opens up. Unfortunately, I could not get it to work for company searches: e.g. I want to do `gd Company Name`, and get a list of company.

This page allows me to search glassdoor companies, https://www.glassdoor.com/developer/companiesApiActions.htm#CompanySearch but add the search results as a Custom Search on `Alfred > Features > Web Search  > Add Custom Search > Search URL`.

Does anyone know what I can do?

This is what I tried: https://www.glassdoor.co.uk/Reviews/london-{query}-reviews-SRCH_IL.0,6_IM1035_KO7,10.htm but this is a wild guess and it didn't work.

It does and it doesn't. You're confusing the API with the website. Alfred's Web Searches open the URL in your browser, so the API is not useful here.

This is the URL you want: https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/company-reviews.htm?sc.keyword={query}

If you only want to search in London, use this URL: https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/company-reviews.htm?sc.keyword={query}&locT=C&locId=2671300

I figured out the URLs using my browser's Developer Tools.
