Sequence of key hits as a workflow

Hey everyone,

 

When I get an email, I do the following steps to reply to it:

 

1. Type "1p tut" to launch tutanota's website with Alfred credentials
2. ⇥ + Enter + ⇥ + ⇥ + Enter

 

Could I automate this in a workflow to skip these steps everytime?

Probably. Depends on which browser you're talking about.

I'm using Firefox so that would be ideal but could be in another browser too :)

You can probably forget about Firefox. It's utterly hopeless for scripting. Safari or Chrome would probably work. Open Script Editor then File > Open Dictionary… to see the scripting API docs for your browser.

 

If you'd like more concrete help, you'll need to provide a more concrete description of exactly what it is you're trying to achieve. Especially because simulating keypresses is an awful way to do things if there's an alternative.
