PHP not found when workflow is running under MacOS 12 beta 1

Recommended Posts

Hello *,

I have updated my Mac to 12 beta 1.

Alfred works.

There are workflows with problems. I have activate the debug mode in the workflow section. After running "alfred setup" (to setup Alfred tweet) I get the messages ...

I have MAMMP installed and I want to use the php for Alfred. But after set the php to the /etc/paths.d" the issue still exists. PHP can be run from terminal but Alfred will ignore this.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks in advanced.

Regards

When making a request or a bug report pertaining to a specific workflow, please do not open a new thread to discuss your issue.

Making a new thread, while it seems like it’ll give your problem visibility, fragments the discussion and makes it less likely the author and users of the workflow (the people who can help) will see it.

Please read the Reporting Problems with Workflows topic, as it gives a nice overview on how to make a report with a better chance of being addressed.

Try using the full path to the binary.

Hello vitor,

thanks for your replay and the hints. I will try to follow them in the future.

Where Can I set the full path to the php? Because at this time I can't use the workflow editor. The editor is not accessible for the blind. I must change the files directly and found no path in the workflow info file. The best way will to change the path in Alfred for all workflows?

Thanks and

regards

Yeah, this is the proper solution. The workflow uses Alfred's built-in ability to run PHP, so fixing the workflow for your system would require a substantial rewrite.

I'm 100% sure Andrew will modify Alfred to automatically use the right paths for your operating system – because so many workflows will be broken otherwise – but I have no idea when.
