Alfred + Google Tasks WorkFlow

I’ve been trying to connect Alfred to Google Tasks for a while but I'm really struggling.

 

In an ideal world id be able to add tasks/todos straight into my google tasks through an Alfred workflow. 

 

I’ve been playing around with the Google Tasks API but its a little above my coding pay grade.

 

I was wondering if there are any tips/tricks the community could give me.

Or perhaps point me in the direction of someone I could pay to build such a workflow.

Hi @Harit556, welcome to the forum.

 

Yeah, Google's APIs aren't much fun to work with because of all the awful OAuth junk. You might be able to borrow all the OAuth code from an existing workflow, and just handle the Tasks-specific bits, which shouldn't be too complex based on your description.

I guess maybe it's time to change to Todoist or a different to do app!
