edshv
It seems that passing macOS selection as an argument via triggers like hotkeys causes the selection to be copied to the pasteboard, overriding whatever value was stored there previously. How can I pass macOS selection as arguments, but not have Alfred clobber the pasteboard? Link to comment
vitor
You can’t prevent the selection from being copied because that’s how Alfred gets the value. You can either restore your clipboard by using a Copy to Clipboard Output with {clipboard:1} or change the setting in Alfred Preferences → Advanced → Selection Hotkeys to Restore previous clipboard item (uses more memory).
