kzssc Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 (edited) Understanding that the default web search function pass-into the computer's default browser, I think it'd be helpful (and hopefully unproblematic) to introduce a option, per keyword, to decide on which browser to use. Of course, the pre-selected option can just be the system's default browser. Current workaround: via new workflow, which involves some going back-and-forth the config page, copy-and-pasting and disabling the selection etc. Problem with this: inefficient + search cannot be integrated into fallback options. Thanks very much! Edited October 23, 2021 by kzssc

What's the use case? What do you think the typical Alfred user is going to do with the feature? To my mind, this sounds very niche. And there are already applications that can do this.

It’s not more inefficient than your proposal because you’ll only do it once. When you want to add an extra search later on, you do it in the Workflow. And they can be added as fallback options.
kzssc Posted November 3, 2021 Author Posted November 3, 2021 Thank you both for your answers! I'll bear these in mind when I next create a new search entry on alfred!
