feature request. spotlight search

i would like to be able to enter a keyword to do a spotlight search using a keyword for a default folder and have the results returned in the finder.  

 

i have looked through the workflows and have not found anything like this.  

 

any suggestions?

In the workflows, take a look at the Examples (from the bottom left [+] button) - "Filter for folders in home", "Open an image in Safari" or "Find and play music".

 

These should get you started for configuring your own file filters.

 

To open the result in Finder, replace the "Open File" action with a "Reveal in Finder" action

thanks for the info.  

 

i got this to work, however, when you use the reveal in finder action, the finder shows you the location of the file without filtering the results.

 

i was hoping to do more of a spotlight search, where the only files displayed in the finder are related to the search term typed into the alfred window.

 

is there a way to do this?
