When removing sound in snippet expansion, it does not replace the text.

When I go to Features - Snippets - Auto Expansion Options - Sounds and uncheck the box with "Play sound when expanding Snippet" or "Play sound when expanding Workflow Snippet Trigger", when I run a Snippet workflow, it does not remove completely the snippet typed, it only removes the last character.

I’m unable to reproduce. What are your versions of Alfred and macOS? Can you share the Workflow in question (transfer.sh provides quick temporary storage)? Also, take a look at the Snippets and Text Expansion Troubleshooting documentation.

Hello vitor, the version I'm using is Alfred 5, macOS 12.5 (Monterey).

 

I've attached a screenshot of the workflow and its configuration.

 

In the example, when I write down the word "example", it trims the last "e" and then it pastes the text in the document, but does not remove the "exampl" that is before the pasted text. If you try it playing sounds, it doesn't happen.

Still unable to reproduce. I think I’ve made my Workflow exactly the same as yours, but could you share it just to make sure? transfer.sh provides quick temporary storage.

In the meantime, you can probably fix it locally by tweaking the Snippet options.

You were clear in writing, but thank you for the confirmation video. That’s what I can’t reproduce. Have you changed the snippet options, as linked before?

In the Workflow Editor, on the top right, click the third icon from the left. The one directly to the left of the bug.

It seems that the problem is due to the speed of the simulated key events. With Faster option works well. Thanks for your help!
