Copy selected text to TextEdit (e.g., for spellcheck)

Someone asked for what is basically a demonstration workflow to be able to spellcheck text which is not capable of being spellchecked in its original app. This very simple demonstration workflow is merely a Universal Action to copy selected text, open TextEdit and paste the text into TextEdit where it can be spell checked.

TextEdit - I activated spelling and grammar under Edit - Spelling and Grammar to do spellcheck. Works good. thanks

 

Still looking for a more advanced workflow for more rule-based auto-corrections to clean up transcripts generated by MS teams meetings. would be great to get more ideas and suggestions on it.

@pankajsz I have (only) partially responded to your request with this new workflow. It will not do all of what you want (the programming for which is probably well above my pay grade 😀) but will do rather more than the workflow mentioned in this thread.
