MailTags Workflow 2.5 (Tag + Project + Tickle)

Recommended Posts

Hi Carlos

There seems to be an issue with setting tickles.   eg I tried to set one for 30 days and it set for 3 days.

In fact, it seems to be grabbing the first digit and using that as the number of days  (eg 10 days -> 1 day)

Probably a simple thing.

Also what are the chances you can make the projects list in alphabetical order rather than grouping by type of projects (Things, OF, The Hit List, etc)

Nice catch, thank you. It’s fixed. I’ll test a bit more and post an update ASAP.

Regarding the projects order: it’s possible of course but Alfred will place used items at the start of the list later (breaking the order) unless the workflow blocks this Alfred feature for good. I’m not sure if most users would like to see this Alfred feature removed. Let’s vote? :)

OK! :)

Absolutely awesome!!!!!! I love it.

Is there a way to REMOVE a tag or tickle date?

It seems that right now it’s not possible but it would be nice to be able to remove tags and tickle and even an email from a project. Maybe Scott could do something in the future. :)

Hi Carlos,

Thanks for this workflow.

Is it also possible to tag an email I am writing with this workflow?

I use mailtags also a lot in emails I'm sending out, so this would save me a lot of time.

Thanks in advance,

Saskia

Right now the workflows relies on email selection.

I’ll see if Scott can do something about it too.

Great work !

Thx

Thank you!

Yes I agree this would be REALLY useful. Love this workflow. This would make it perfect

I’ve already sent Scott an email about it. It depends on him to add new AppleScript commands so I can use them in the workflow.

Hi Carlos

You can remove keywords by setting them to an empty list

Projects -- set to ""

and the next version of MT will have ability for applescript to tell a message to clear the tickle date.

Scott

Thank you Scott.

I think I tried that only with tickle date.

Great to hear you will add more commands. I’ll surely use them. Thank you. :)

Version 2.5 is out:

  • Remove all tags from selected messages (hold control key in keyword mtag)
  • Remove tickle from selected messages (hold control key in keyword mtic)
  • Keyword inbox to access your inbox messages and tag (return key), set tickle (control key) or a project (option key)
  • MailTags version 3.2.2 or greater is required

The keyword inbox is a feature that still in progress. Any suggestions will be appreciated. :)

A workflow update to version 4.0 is planned. I was just waiting for a very stable beta.

I'll install this week MailTags 4.0.

Hello all, greeting in the new year.

I am here once again to seek the knowlage of the geniuses in this forum.

My question is:

Does someone like to make the the current Mailtag for alfred in Mailtags 4.0.

Cannot use the current Alfred version properly in when using Mailtags 4.0

Hi, I'm wondering whether this workflow is still available and works with Mailtags 5. I tried to download but the link doesn't seem to work anymore.

Thanks!

Nate

The link should work now.

However, I didn't test the workflow with Mailtags 5.
