renforter Posted January 27, 2023 Share Posted January 27, 2023 It was working earlier today. Nothing changed. It stopped functioning. Entering "define blah" in the Alfred prompt does nothing. I noticed that Alfred 5 was available so I upgraded to it from V.4 and the powerpack for it. Still the same issue. Link to comment
Vero Posted January 27, 2023 Share Posted January 27, 2023 @renforter Could you confirm whether you see the "Define word..." result before you start typing a word to define? If you can't see it, check your Alfred prefs in case you've changed your keyword away from the default. If you can see it, but no definition is shown when you type a word, open the Dictionary app and take a look at which dictionaries are available in the preferences. It may be that there are no dictionaries from which to return results. For example, these are the dictionaries I've selected on my own Mac. Let me know how you get on Link to comment
renforter Posted February 16, 2023 Author Share Posted February 16, 2023 Sorry I ddint get back sooner. Had that macBPro die on me. Its in the shop. Define is working for me now on the new Mac Mini. But Open and Find are not working. I posted about that. Link to comment
