AndyBurdett
Hi, I've been using Alfred quite happily for ages. I've recently upgraded to Ventura and now I have to set my custom hotkey (double command) after every reboot to invoke Alfred. Alfred starts after rebooting and is happily running in my menu bar but I can't access it using the hot key until I set it again. all permissions have been requested. Anyone else have the same problem? Anyone know how I can fix this? Link to comment
Stephen_C
It's worth checking your permissions again (Alfred Preferences → General and then Request Permissions…). I know you say permissions have been dealt with but Ventura is notorious for forgetting permissions granted (at least prior to 13.3—which, so far, seems much better in that respect). If you're quite sure all is as it should be with the permissions where are you storing your Alfred preferences (Alfred Preferences → Advanced then Set Preferences Folder… under Syncing)? AndyBurdett
Thanks for your response. I have checked the permissions again. Seems it hadn't granted full disk access, now granted. Will try that and see how it goes. Edit: that fixed it! Link to comment
Stephen_C
I'm glad everything is now working for you. If you've not updated to Ventura 13.3 I recommend it because it seems to retain granted permissions rather better than did previous versions of Ventura. Stephen sepulchra 1 Link to comment
