Hello,

I use Alfred on Macbook and I'm considering buying Alfred Remote for iPad.

The problem is that when I search for a pdf file through the Google Drive app on the iPad, I can't edit/annotate it. I can't write notes in it with an Apple pencil.

So the question is - If I search for a file through Alfred on the iPad, can I annotate it afterward? Namely, so that it is then automatically saved where the file was originally saved (Google Drive)?

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Lukas

@Lukas Stilo Welcome to the forum. :) Alfred Remote is a counterpart to Alfred on your Mac, so will help you launch apps, trigger actions and workflows, etc on your Mac.

It isn't intended as a search tool for your iOS device itself, so you'll need to use a different tool for this - Perhaps opening your Google Drive PDFs in the native Books app on iOS would suit your needs?

Cheers,
Vero

Hi @Vero

thank you for your response.

It is a good point, but unfortunately editing a file from the Books App doesn't sync with Google Drive, so at least I haven't found a solution. 😞
