Andrea Italy
When I search for something Alfred asks me for system permissions and I no longer have access to my machine. I can no longer click anywhere and even if the computer continues to work I can't do anything. This happens to me randomly, even after searching for various things, asking me for permissions for the Desktop and Downloads. Permissions which I have already given and addititionally Alfred has access to the entire disk. I don't know what to do anymore. If it happens again I will remove Alfred. Link to comment
vitor
Welcome @Andrea Italy, If Alfred has Full Disk Access, no permission requests for other folders should show up. That suggests permissions aren’t correctly granted (macOS sometimes meses them up on upgrades) so remove and regrant Full Disk Access in the System Settings. To start, what are your exact versions of Alfred and macOS? Reminder that to get the up to date version of Alfred you have to download it from https://www.alfredapp.com, not the Mac App Store. Andrew
@Andrea Italy Assuming you're using Alfred 5, are you using ⌘Space as your hotkey? If so, Spotlight (or associated features) could be trying to operate at the same time as Alfred and this can cause the kind of unresponsiveness you describe. https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/cmd-space/ Link to comment
