ChatFred and OpenAI limits

I've just installed the ChatFred workflow and have successfully set up a secret key on my trial https://chat.openai.com account and entered that into ChatFred, but am getting the "you have reached the rate limit" message when I type the "cf" prefix and ask a question.

 

I can still reach and use ChatGTP via BettertouchTool's chatGTP menubar addon but this just opens a small window in which to log in and use chatGTP, so maybe it's trying to access via the API that's causing problems?  

 

Any thoughts & help please?

@alfredder If you log in to the following URL and check your usage, you'll see how much credit you have:

https://platform.openai.com/account/usage

Oh thanks - I did see that my credit had expired, but also read that it needed $5 to set up the API. As the API has been set up, I thought I was OK. So it sounds like I need to upgrade the account to the $20 a month ChatGTP Plus?

chatgpt has nothing to do with openai api.
