if I bungle, how can I quickly stop an ongoing workflow ?

thanks in advance for your time and help

Activity monitor is the only way that I know of. This has been required previously. Which likely is possible for Alfred to implement if it tracked process ID's but from what I read recently, it is not planned to be supported.

thank you for your reply, @Terminal

I work a lot in Keyboard Maestro and the "cancel all macros" action is very helpful.

What do I cancel via the activity monitor ? Is quitting Alfred enough, or does the workflow take on a life of its own ?

Would "quit Alfred " be sufficient via Launchbar or Keyboard Maestro ?
