Sanad
After recent OS update, Alfred 5 has stopped working on macOS Ventura 13.4. It fails to start quietly. No errors or notifications shown. I tried removing the current Alfred 5 app and downloading and installing the latest one (Alfred_5.1_2134.dmg) but in vain.
Stephen_C
I know this won't help you very much but I've run Alfred 5.1 under macOS 13.4 with no problem (although I'm currently on the 5.1.1 pre-release of Alfred). I assume you've tried re-starting your Mac. Stephen
Sanad
@Stephen_C Thanks. Could you point me to the download link for 5.1.1 pre-release? Thanks.
Stephen_C
Go to Alfred Preferences → Update and, at the bottom, check Automatically check for and change the dropdown to pre-releases. Stephen
Sanad
Alfred is not loading at all for me so I am not able to do that.
Sanad
After about 15 minutes of restarting my laptop, Alfred loaded. Not sure what caused that delay 🤷♂️ Edited May 29, 2023 by Sanad
ascandroli
I had a similar issue after upgrading to 13.6. Restarting was not helping but after reading your last comment I noticed that Spotlight was reindexing and assumed Alfred was doing something similar, I had to wait 10 mins (on a M1!) but after that everything went back to normal.
