Shen
- I am submitting this workflow for @blacs30 see https://github.com/blacs30/bitwarden-alfred-workflow/issues/156 - Alfred Forum: - GituHb main page: https://github.com/blacs30/bitwarden-alfred-workflow - Dependency: bitwarden-cli (homebrew)
vitor
Welcome @Shen, Thank you for the submission, but this can not go in the Gallery as is. Please reference the pinned post. At a glance I see this makes heavy use of Workflow Environment Variables instead of Workflow’s Configuration and it includes an unsigned and unnotarised binary. I addition, screenshots cannot have obfuscated information. The information doesn’t have to be real (i.e. not sharing personal information) but it needs to be real looking i.e. give users a true sense of what the workflow is like. Shen
Thank you! Ill start working on the improvements based on the info you provided. Do you mind me ping you again once I finish them?
vitor
Please do. And please also be sure to check the other requirements, such as removing any auto-updaters. I haven’t examined the workflow thoroughly yet and will do so once the changes are done. Also, if you provide a mockup bitwarden vault (again, details do not have to be real, just look like they are) it will speed up review. Shen
@vitor quick question. I have this https://formulae.brew.sh/formula/bitwarden-cli dependency need to be managed by Alfred. I am having hard time to find the documentation for the integration guide. Wondering if you got any insight regarding this?
vitor
That’s done on the Gallery’s side. I only need to know the dependency exists, you don’t have to do anything regarding that. Shen
Shen
@vitor question regarding unsigned and unnotarized binaries. I'm still kinda new to this and wondering if you have any resource or documentation regarding this concept? I am having hard time to find the ones that unsigned or unnotarized files in the repo... >_>
vitor
Signing and notarising is what you do to apps on macOS to allow them run on other Macs. Binaries (command-line tools) require the same treatment. There is a large one in the workflow: bitwarden-alfred-workflow. Signing and notarising requires (paid) enrolment in the Apple Developer Program.
