RusselFredson
I'm running High Sierra and I am unable to give Alfred Full Disk Access, these are all the options I have in Security & Privacy after I unlock it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Link to comment
Vero
@RusselFredson Welcome to the forum. MacOS 10.13 High Sierra doesn't have a Full Disk Access option, as Apple added it in a later version of macOS. The full disk is accessible by default in this version. Link to comment
RusselFredson
Thanks for your response @Vero Makes sense. That was a bit confusing as the option is greyed out in the Alfred settings. Note that in order for files to show up I had to tick Folders/Documents/Text Files in settings. Link to comment
Vero
@RusselFredson These file types are excluded from default results intentionally. If you're new to searching with Alfred, I'd recommend taking a look at this page, which will show you what keywords you can use to make a broader search using the "open" keyword (or spacebar shortcut): https://www.alfredapp.com/help/features/file-search/#file-search It's up to you whether you include documents and text files in your default results, but I'd suggest using the above instead, which keeps your default results tidier, allowing you to quickly launch apps, workflows and other more important actions RusselFredson 1 Link to comment
