File search incorrect sorting order

File search results seem to be displayed in a random order. I would expect files to be sorted by filename or modification date.

These results are sorted by relevance; This usually means the files you opened most recently, either in Alfred or macOS.

If you'd like to specify the ordering, I would suggest creating a File Filter workflow, where you can sort by last modified, last opened or Alfred's accumulated knowledge about your usage.
