Open new terminal window with specified settings profile

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Here is a quick and dirty workflow which opens a new terminal window with the specified profile.

Usage:

newterm [sETTINGS PROFILE]

I would have loved to specify also a default profile if no argument was provided, but my limited osascript knowledge made that impossible for the time being. If anyone can help me out with that I'll be quite happy :)

EDIT: I managed to solve the issue via bash script. The default profile is "Visor", which you can change manually. I will create a tp-set input to set a default profile automatically as soon as I get some free time.

Thanks!
