Stephen_C Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Just a quick note that I've updated my Open macOS settings panes workflow to add access to some anchors in the Accessibility, Privacy & Security and Sharing panes. The workflow is on the Alfred Gallery and will doubtless be updated there to version 2.0 in due course. Stephen andy4222 1
Stephen_C Posted March 10, 2024 Author Posted March 10, 2024 Version 2.0 is on the Alfred Gallery now. Stephen andy4222 1
andy4222 Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 (edited) @Stephen_C thanks for creating this. Any way we can trigger each preference directly (without triggering the initial keyword). Edited March 11, 2024 by andy4222
Stephen_C Posted March 11, 2024 Author Posted March 11, 2024 Not with my workflow as currently written, sorry. Stephen

There's an alternative workflow here with individual keywords for each preferences pane.
Stephen_C Posted March 16, 2024 Author Posted March 16, 2024 The workflow has been updated to version 2.5. It has been re-written as a script filter to take advantage of Alfred 5.5 caching. Alfred now also learns from used items to bring them to the top of the list. The ReadMe is updated, Transfer & Reset was removed as it was not accessible. I have added access to the Software Update panel and Keyboard Shortcuts. Do note that version 2.5 requires Alfred 5.5 and later. If you are on an earlier version of Alfred please use version 2.0 of the workflow. As the workflow is on the Alfred Gallery you should be able to update from there within a few days. Stephen
Stephen_C Posted June 26, 2024 Author Posted June 26, 2024 Version 2.52 (which, credit to @FireFingers21, provides access to the AppleCare & Warranty settings pane) has been released on GitHub. As the workflow is on the Alfred Gallery you should be able to update from there within a few days. Stephen
Stephen_C Posted August 23, 2024 Author Posted August 23, 2024 Version 2.6, in response to a feature request, allows you to search for "menu bar” in the workflow and will then open the Control Centre in System Settings (where most of the menu bar settings reside). As the workflow is on the Alfred Gallery you should be able to update from there within a few days. Stephen
Stephen_C Posted August 23, 2024 Author Posted August 23, 2024 Version 2.8 adds access to the Keyboard → Function Keys, Keyboard → Modifier Keys, Keyboard → Text Replacements, Privacy & Security → Bluetooth and Privacy & Security → Files and Folders panes. Stephen
Stephen_C Posted September 17, 2024 Author Posted September 17, 2024 Version 3.0 has been updated for macOS 15. If you are still on macOS please use version 2.7 (incorrectly referred to in the previous post as 2.8: sorry!). All being well the updated version should appear on the Alfred Gallery in a few days. Stephen
Stephen_C Posted November 24, 2024 Author Posted November 24, 2024 Version 3.2 adds access to Sharing → Remote Access and Languages & Region → Translation Languages and improves search word matching (with thanks again to @luckman212). No doubt an Alfred Gallery update will soon follow. Stephen luckman212 1
Stephen_C Posted December 8, 2024 Author Posted December 8, 2024 Version 3.21 replaces the reference to the Siri pane with one to the Apple Intelligence & Siri pane. Stephen
Stephen_C Posted December 16, 2024 Author Posted December 16, 2024 Version 3.5 is a substantial revision to accord with the correct pane titles and paths, addition of two more panes (Lockdown and App Management) plus a German localisation (choose the language in the workflow configuration)—with most credit to @Tekl.
