AdrianV Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 Hi. I have changed the the background in Alfred settings appearance. I use the modern theme. I changed the main background image and I wish to restore the default colour. Can anyone help? I have uninstalled Alfred using homebrew but I still have that background image. Not the end of the world, but it's irritating . Thanks in advance for your help. AdrianV
sepulchra Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 You should be able to change the background color by clicking on the icon that looks like two overlapping triangles in the upper right hand corner of the appearance editor.
AdrianV Posted April 26, 2024 Author Posted April 26, 2024 Hi Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately that is what is what I done in the first place. I can use that icon to flick through the various backgrounds but I do not like any of them, thats why I wish to revert to the original setting but I cannot find a way to do it.
brick Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Slightly unrelated, but I do wish there was a way to reset any changes made to a theme back to the default settings as well.
FireFingers21 Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 @brick You can accomplish this by just duplicating the Alfred Default Theme again, or if you downloaded a theme from the internet, just re-import the file. Unless it's an Alfred Default Theme, the best way to establish default settings of a theme is to export a copy of it as a file somewhere.

I'm in a situation where I've already made edits to most of the Default Themes, so I can't duplicate them to get the originals like you're suggesting.

I've made edits to the duplicates of the default themes, not the originals. It's just the downloaded themes that I've edited the originals of.
