zeitlings
Injecting an emoji into the text view footer via JSON config breaks something, i.e. the emoji is repeated 36 times. The bug persists even after removing {var:dot} from the JSON config once the bug has been introduced. Here is an example workflow with some further comments in the about-section: https://transfer.archivete.am/15dwha/Bug | JSON Config Text View.alfredworkflow Link to comment
Andrew
@zeitlings Those dots are actually hard coded in the top JSON Config workflow object, but not visible. If you open the top JSON Config object's config, put the cursor after the { of {var:dot}, then start deleting backwards, you'll see that you can delete them while the cursor stays in the same place. Likewise, copying and pasting the JSON from here and into text edit will also make them visible. It looks like the JSON Config editor is just not rendering emoji, which would be the bug here. Andrew
Note: I've also added an internal ticket to enable {var:} overrides in the Text View config so you don't need to use the JSON Config. Link to comment
vitor
This should be fixed in Alfred 5.5.1 b2273, currently in pre-release. Link to comment
